About the clinic

SAGA HIMAT began heavy-ion radiotherapy in 2013 as an advanced medical technology and now treats many indications under insurance, including localized prostate cancer, non-squamous head and neck cancers, stage I–IIA lung cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma of 4 cm or more. New-patient clinics are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings by reservation. Foreign patients can request second opinions at separate fees.
