About the clinic

Kumamoto Immunity Integrative Medicine Clinic, led by surgical oncologist Dr. Junji Akagi, builds treatment around restoring anti-tumor immunity. Its protocols combine checkpoint inhibitors (nivolumab, ipilimumab, pembrolizumab) with Thermotron RF-8 hyperthermia, hydrogen inhalation, ICG-liposome photoimmunotherapy, chemotherapy and the autologous cancer vaccine, monitored with seven immune parameters including exhausted T cells.
