How it works

Private by design
Your images never leave your device: the page reads the file in your browser and sends it nowhere. We only count visits to this page. We never see or store your scans, your name or any file content.
What you can open
DICOM images in a ZIP archive: CD/DVD exports with a DICOMDIR, hospital downloads and portal exports. CT, MRI, PET and X-ray series are shown. Viewer programs and reports inside the ZIP are ignored. Encrypted ZIP files are not supported.
Questions
Is my scan uploaded anywhere?
No. The viewer runs in your browser and reads the file from your device. You can switch off the internet after the page has loaded and it still works for the loaded images.
Is this a medical device?
No. It is for looking at your own images. It is not for diagnosis; always rely on your doctor's reading.
Can a Japanese doctor review my scan?
Yes. JapanMedAssist offers a free case review for international patients. Nothing is sent from this viewer; you choose what to share.
